Are you one of the millions trying to improve your golf swing? The truth is, no matter how good we get, we always want to get better. In the age of the internet many people are going online for help with their golf. This raises the question ‘Can an Online Golf Video Really Help’?

There are several answers to this question. First you have to look at where exactly you are getting your online golf video.

The internet makes it possible for anyone to become an expert on golf. Anyone can upload a golf instructional video and proclaim themselves as an expert.

Websites such as YouTube contain hundreds of videos with people offering their golf tips.

These are all wannabe golf teachers. Follow their advice at your peril.

Many people are good golfers but that doesn’t make them good teachers. Getting the wrong advice or poorly explained advice can hurt your game. Take my advice and stay away from anything free.

As for the online golf videos that are made my professionals, yes they can really help your game.

If you can take a laptop to the driving range and watch the videos there, it will make a massive difference to your game. It’s like having your own personal instructor with you.

Find a golf video for the aspect of your game that you want to improve. Don’t get a general video.

As with any aspect of your golf swing, work on improving one thing at a time, don’t try and change too much too soon.
